About the Bakehouse
Bakehouse Banff is a small, independent bakery bringing the iconic Kiwi-style meat pie to the heart of the Canadian Rockies. What started as one Kiwi’s craving for a proper pie has grown into a full-time craft—hand-making classic fillings, slow-cooked meats, buttery pastry, and honest comfort food for the Bow Valley community.
With 15+ years of baking experience and a passion for doing things the right way. We bake everything from scratch, in small batches, using real ingredients, traditional methods, and the same pies we grew up with back home in New Zealand. No shortcuts. No fillers. Just proper pies.
